BSE Futures Complete Position Report


Futures Complete Positions section displays a list of your open positions in Futures contracts. The system displays you the following window when you click this option in Complete Positions Report:

The Report provides you with several useful details. These include:

  1. Contract Description- It displays the contract in which the trading was done. Contract is a unique identifier which consists of <instrument type>, <scrip name> and <Expiry Date>. For ex, FUTSTK-ACC-28DEC2006.

     
  2. Product Type- It displays the a new filter shall be provided for Product Type having filter value “All”, “Intraday” and “Carry Forward” By default “All” will be selected.

     
  3. Previous Position- Qty- This field displays the number of open positions bought or sold in the corresponding contract during previous settlements.

  4. Previous Position - Avg. Price- This field displays the average price at which Previous Positions were bought or sold.

  5. Current Position- Qty- This field displays the number of open positions bought or sold in the corresponding contract during current settlement.

  6. Current Position - Avg. Price- This field displays the average price at which the Current Positions were bought or sold.

  7. Net Open Position- Qty- This field displays the net open positions bought or sold in the corresponding contract. It is the cumulative sum of Previous Position - Qty and Current Position - Qty.

  8. Net Open Position - Avg. Price- This field displays the average price at which Net Open Positions were bought or sold.

  9. Current Price- This field displays the current market Price of the contract.
Note! Different color legend will be used to indicate the contracts which are marked for Intraday. This differentiation will only be visible to the clients who have opted for Futures Intraday product.
