1. To begin with, enter the Scrip Name in Scrip text box.
   
   
2. Choose the exchange where the given scrip is listed. To select both NSE & BSE exchanges, choose 'Both' from Exchange drop-down box.
   
   
3. Click on 'Search' button to search the given scrip. Note! You can further precise your search by clicking on Advanced Search link. Below is a brief description about the fields given in 'Advance Search' option.
   
   3.1) Category - You can specify the category where the concerned scrip is listed. There are two categories - 'A' and 'Z'.
   
   3.2) Intraday Trading Allowed - You can specify whether Intraday Trading is allowed in the concerned scrip or not.
   
   3.3) Margin Trading Allowed - You can specify whether Margin Trading is allowed in the concerned scrip or not.
   
   
4. Online Trading System works on your set criteria and displays you the related records.

Scrip Search Results
Once you click on 'Search' button, the system displays you a list of records that matches your search criteria. Below is the description about the fields displayed in Scrip Search Results:

• Scrip - It displays the scrip name.
  
  
• Exch - It displays the exchange name.
  
  
• Scrip Code - It displays the scrip code given by the exchange. Scrip code is different for each exchange.
  
  
• Exchange Symbol - It displays the exchange symbol of the given scrip.
  
  
• Category - It displays the category to which the given scrip belongs to.
  
  
• Intraday Trading Allowed - It indicates whether Intraday Trading is allowed in the given scrip or not.
  
  
• Margin Trading Allowed - It indicates whether Margin Trading is allowed in the given scrip or not.
  
  
• Company Name - It displays the company name.
