BSE Contract Search Feature


Search Contract
feature lets you search the particular contract by entering the search criteria in the given text box. Below is the screenshot of Search window that will give you a better understanding about its functionality:

How to search a contract?
To search the particular contract, follow the steps given below:

  1. To begin with, choose the exchange.

  2. Next select the instrument type. You can choose 'FUTSTK' option to search stocks from the Futures Market. Or, you can choose 'FUTIDX' option to search indexes from Futures Market. Similarly, you can search stocks from Options Market by choosing 'OPTSTK' option or 'OPTIDX' to search index from the Options Market.

  3. Next, enter the Scrip ID in Scrip ID text box.

  4. Next, choose the expiry date of the contract.

  5. Click on 'Search' button to search for the given contract.

  6. On clicking, the system works on your set criteria and displays you the related records which includes instrument type,symbol,Asset Code,Strike Price(applicable only in case of Option contracts),Option Type(applicable only in case of Option Contracts),Expiry Date and Regular Lot.
