Currency Options Complete Position Report


Currency Options Complete Position section displays a list of all your open positions in Options contracts. The system displays you the following window when you click on this option in Complete Positions Report:

You can use the following search options to view the complete position of the desired contract:

  1. Exchange -You can search on the basis of the exchange,Choose from NSE.

  2. Symbol- You can choose the symbol for which you want to view complete position . Choose from USDINR, JYPINR, EURINR and GBPINR.

  3. Product Type-You can choose to view from the type of product viz., ‘Intraday / Carry Forward /All’. To view trades in both product types choose “All”.

Currency Options Complete Position Search Results

  1. Contract Description- It displays the contract in which the trading was done. Contract is a unique identifier which consists of <instrument type>, <scrip name><Expiry Date>.<Strike Price> and <Option Type> For ex, OPTCUR-USDINR-28NOV2011-42.5-PE.

  2. Exchange -This field displays the selected exchange.

  3. Product Type- This field displays the product type for corresponding contract.

  4. Previous Position- Lot- This field displays open positions (in Lots) bought or sold in the corresponding contract during previous settlements.

  5. Previous Position - Avg. Trade Price- This field displays the average price at which Previous Positions were bought or sold.

  6. Current Position- Lot- This field displays the open positions (in Lots) bought or sold in the corresponding contract during current settlement.

  7. Current Position - Avg. Trade Price- This field displays the average price at which the Current Positions were bought or sold.

  8. Net Open Position- Lot- This field displays the net open positions in the corresponding contract. It is the cumulative sum of Previous Position - Lot and Current Position - Lot.

  9. Net Open Position - Avg. Trade Price- This field displays the average price at which Net Open Positions were bought or sold.

  10. Options Outstanding Orders- Buy Lot-This field will show the Lot of the outstanding buy orders of option contracts.

  11. Options Outstanding Orders- Sell Lot- This field will show the Lot of the outstanding sell orders of option contracts.

  12. Current Price- This field displays the current market Price of the contract.

  13. Net Margin Utilized - This field displays the cumulative sum of margin utilized for all the open positions and outstanding orders.

  14. Notional P/L -This field displays the Notional P/L for the net open positions in the corresponding contract.

  15. Booked P/L - This field will display the booked P/L for all the squared off positions in the corresponding contract.

  16. Action-Square-Off Net position- You can click on square off button to square off your open positions.
